Solomon Poster
Solomon Poster
Our Meshugge ('Crazy') vintage framed posters. This is of King Solomon, son of David and Bath-Sheba. His claim to fame came when two women were arguing over who the true mother of their baby was. King Solomon heard both of them out and ordered to cut the baby in half so each would get a piece. One woman accepted saying that none should have the baby if not for her, while the other told Solomon that she would rather give the baby than kill it. King Solomon used the subterfuge to reveal that the second woman was the actual mother - as no mother would ever want her baby to die.
